The Sindh government has a new policy these days – out with the old and in with the new. With this in mind, they hunted high and low and searched everywhere for the most qualified super being to fit the bill of our Minister for Sports, according to reports. They looked through extensive lists of professional athletes, sportsmen, and people who have been there guiding them from the start.
In comes 28 year old well-dressed Sardar Muhammad Bux Khan Mahar or as ‘chief’ as he lovingly calls himself when he posts selfies and pictures of his hairstyles and cars.
Khabaristan Times had the chance to meet the branded man in his personal 5,000 square yards garage.
When asked about his young age and being given this huge responsibility, the Chief replied, “What does age have to do with anything? I already have two kids and a wife somewhere and my mummy says I am a grown up man. So what’s the problem with age?”
The next inquiry to follow was obviously about his qualifications for being a sports minister.
“Er, I have many many MANY Sports Cars. Probably more than anyone in this country. So duh, obviously I am the only choice. And I am a landlord whose favourite sport is spending dad’s money. Who else could fit more?
“And also in Pakistan, if you wear expensive clothes, flaunt your money, sorry I mean, flaunt your abba’s money, people just go, ‘Haye, what a man. What a style. What a wow!’ And sports? I watch cricket and play it just like all the other Pakistani guys. My “galli” where I play is just a whole lot nicer, that is all. What else do you need to be a minister in Pakistan?”
Very convincing arguments, if you ask us. He really does sound like he will prove all the negative haters wrong and will indeed be the best Minister of Sports ever. He was even part of the government’s education committee. We are, however, still waiting on a report to find out what he actually did there.
